Privacy policy
What Player32 stores, why, and how to have it deleted.
No trackers
Player32 uses no advertising networks, no analytics from third parties and no third-party cookies. Fonts, images and scripts are served from player32.com only.
What stays on your device
Your theme choice, catalog filters and small interface preferences are stored in your browser only. The games you follow also live in your browser - and only if you sign in they sync with your account so your library travels with you; deleting the account deletes them.
The Weekly Drop
If you subscribe, your email address is stored on player32.com for the sole purpose of sending that email. It is not shared, sold or used for anything else. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Signing in (developers)
Browsing Player32 sets no cookies. Only when a developer signs in to the studio panel, a session cookie (player32_session, 30 days) keeps them signed in. It identifies the account, nothing else, and deleting it simply signs you out.
Developer accounts
If you create a developer account, Player32 stores your email address, an optional name and a hashed password, never the password itself. Signing in with kronnect.com shares only your email and name with Player32. Claims, page edits, proposals and posts are stored with your account so the catalog knows who manages each page. You can delete your account and everything it owns at any time from My account. If you turn on update emails for games you follow, Player32 emails you when those games post news, a demo or a release. It is off by default and every email has a one-click stop link.
Abuse protection
To stop abuse, the server keeps a short-lived counter per IP address for sensitive actions such as sign-ups and emails. Expired counters are deleted automatically and are never used for anything else.
Anonymous counters
Player32 counts, on its own server, how many times a page is viewed and how many clicks leave for a store. The counters are daily totals: no cookie, no identifier and nothing that can be traced back to a visitor. They also include the country each view comes from, worked out at that moment from the IP address with a geolocation database hosted on this server (IP to Country Lite by DB-IP). The address itself is never stored.
Server logs
The hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
Who is responsible
Player32 is a project of Kronnect Technologies SL, the data controller for everything described here.
- Company: Kronnect Technologies SL
- Tax ID (NIF): B72388283
- Registered address: Avenida de la Libertad 38A, 11500 El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), Spain
- Privacy contact: privacy@player32.com
Personal data is processed in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).
Why we are allowed to process it
- Consent - the Weekly Drop and the update emails for games you follow. You can withdraw it at any time with the one-click link in every email.
- Performance of the service - developer accounts, claims and page edits, which cannot work without an identified account.
- Legitimate interest - the abuse counters and the anonymous page counters, which keep the site running and tell us what is read, with no profiling and no tracking across sites.
- Legal obligation - where the law requires us to keep something.
How long we keep it
- Weekly Drop email address: until you unsubscribe.
- Developer account and everything it owns: until you delete the account.
- Session cookie: 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Abuse counters: minutes to hours, then deleted automatically.
- Anonymous counters: kept as daily totals with no personal data in them.
- Hosting access logs: the retention period of our hosting provider.
Who else touches the data
Only the suppliers needed to run the site: our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database, and the email provider that delivers the Weekly Drop and account emails. They act on our instructions and process the data inside the European Union. Player32 does not sell or share personal data with anyone else, and there is no advertising network involved.
Age
Developer accounts and the Weekly Drop are for people aged 14 or over. If you are under that age, ask a parent or guardian to write to us and we will delete anything we hold.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or hand it to another provider. You can also withdraw any consent you gave, without that affecting what was done before.
Write to privacy@player32.com or by post to Kronnect Technologies SL, Avenida de la Libertad 38A, 11500 El Puerto de Santa María, Spain. We may ask you to identify yourself before acting on a request.
If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.
